Spring is Nearly Here

2017 seems to be a bit later than the past couple of years. The snowdrops seem to be a couple of weeks later as does the Mahonia and Hellebores.

There is still Plenty to do in the garden for instance removing the leaves from the Hellebores if they appear damaged or blackened which will help show off any flowers when they open. Where the lawn meets any hard surfaces can be kept tidy with a half-moon edging iron, this is easier to do now with the softer ground and without the pressures of the growing season. This week I have been catching up with the last of the fruit tree pruning and Cutting back Wisteria to 2 or 3 buds. Also have quite a few hedges to get cut before birds start to nest in them.
